Dungeonball De-Make
For my post-graduate games programming course, I was tasked with de-making an existing sokpop game from a limited list of titles. The choice I made was to de-make Dungeonball, which is a first-person dodgeball roguelike game. The focus of this project wasn't about the graphical aspect of the game but rather for the implementation of the core gameplay mechanics and visual effects to closely resemble that of the original game.
This de-make is not meant to be a one to one copy of the orginal Dungeonball game so certain features seen in the original may not be present in this version. Most noticeably, there is no minimap nor does this project utilise procedural generation for its levels. Each room was manually created to be open rooms with enemies and props scattered around.
